Details: Vancouver had one of the world's largest flings of "hippie-ness" in the 1960s, and its influence can still be very much seen to this very day. It was even the birth place of Greenpeace! Allow us to showcase this period of rebellion and counterculture.
In the 1960s, hippie movements and revolutions took place across North America and defined that decade’s people and history. Travel through time, dress up as a hippie, and enjoy the psychedelic atmosphere. Sit and clear up your inner thoughts at the oxygen bar, get a natural henna tattoo, and dance to the new and the classics!
Allow us to showcase this period of rebellion and counterculture at Woodstock Vancouver 2012: featuring Vancouver's very own bands! Dance to the music of Pleasure Cruise, Silent Spring, Behind Sapphire, Maurice, and Top Less Gay Love Tekno Party.
*First 100 delegates to arrive receive tie-dye headbands!
