Vyas Saran
Academic Coordinator, SA and Crisis
My name is Vyas Saran, and I am very much proud to be on the Host
Committee for WorldMUN XXI. The sites of my hometown will thrill you,
but cross your fingers with me for good weather this March!
I am a first year Arts Faculty student at the University of British
Columbia, with an avid interest in majoring in International Relations,
and/or Political Science. I grew up in the Lower Mainland, going to
MUN-after-MUN, always hoping that one day I would have the privilege to
attend this global conference; little did I know that I would be able to
attend it for the first time only a SkyTrain ride away!
This is my fourth year being involved in Model UN – previously I’ve
had the pleasure of delegating and organizing high school conferences,
going so far as delegating in the Disarmament Committee at the National
High Schools MUN (NHSMUN) at the UN Headquarters itself. My love for
specialized committees and affairs has driven me to apply and work with
such committees this year, and I look forward to working with all
assistant chairs, as well as the rest of this distinguished team you see
on this page.
See you in March!
