Hi, I am Shadlee Rahman and I am very proud to be serving the WorldMUN 2012 Host Committee as the Associate Director of Finance. Being part of a conference that will bring young minds from all over the world together for a week is something that excites me greatly and I am looking forward to the diversity of culture and opinion that I am sure I will come across during the conference.

Here at UBC, I am a 3rd year student majoring in Political Science with a minor in International Relations.I am originally from Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh and moved here in 2009. Outside academics, my interests range from soccer and cricket to reading and writing.

I am looking forward to the opportunity to meet and get to know many of you as you share your insight and opinion on pressing issues affecting us as global citizens as we move forward in time, and I am looking forward to everyone having a good time and taking away a great deal of knowledge and memories from the conference!
