Pedram Maheiddinibonab
Transportation Coordinator
What it do,
I'd like to extend a big welcome to all of you. Welcome to Vancouver and the World Model United Nations. My name is Pedram Maheiddinibonab and I will be your Transportation Coordinator for WorldMUN. I can't wait to meet everyone and it will be my privilege to introduce you to our city. I've lived in Vancouver almost all my life and I can't wait to introduce her to all of you.
I am a third year International Relations student at the University of British Columbia. I have always had a keen interest in politics and international cooperation. More precisely, I have always been interested in Canada's role in the global community and our responsibility to both protect those who can't protect themselves and to protect the intrinsic rights of all peoples. When I'm not working, I am a Canuck, and you will be too when you watch a few hockey games here. I also like to snowboard in the winter and play all kinds of sports in the summer.
As for my experience, I worked as a Systems Supervisor for Gameday Management at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and Paralympic Games. Through the same company, I worked as a Assistant Systems Manager at the 2010 G8/G20 Summit in Toronto, Canada.
I've always believed in leaving your mark on the world and helping those around you. Hopefully, your experience here will have a positive impact on your life.
Cheers,
Pedram Maheiddinibonab
